Our Campaigns

Since August 2020, we’ve conducted over 15 national, state and local campaigns to make the lives of the underprivileged slightly better, warmer and happier. Focusing on uplifting the needy by various means of women empowerment, child development, health and sanitation, animal welfare and environmental conservation. Apart from these, we make sure we spend all our festivals like Holi, Diwali, Christmas, New Year etc with those who have no one to call their own, and try to make them feel loved and cared for. We also conduct the Grains Bank every six months, donating over 1000kgs of wheat and rice uptil now. Regular drives like clothes, masks, and blankets donation take place all the time.

Project Mahavari

 March 2021

Project Mahavari was a national campaign initiated by Youthika in March 2021, aimed at improving the menstrual hygiene condition of India. Project Mahavari included two things. Firstly, sessions were provided to hundreds of school girls, they were educated about menstrual hygiene, myths, and safety; guided and counseled regarding the same. Secondly, underprivileged girls and women across the nation were provided with sanitary kits with stock for up to 5 years. These kits would be taken from Project Inayat, a self-help group of rural women, hence providing them with an employment opportunity. Project Mahavari took place in numerous cities of Maharashtra, Odhisha, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Telangana, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, and Delhi. This project included various collaborations with local, state, national, and international organizations. Our official hygiene partners for the campaign were PeeSafe.

Animal Welfare

30th Aug to 5th Sept 2021

The 7-Day Plan included :

I.) Feeding drive on all seven days-

We visited 10 localities of Aurangabad each day, to feed all stray dogs we find there. These locations have been chosen due to the enormous number of doggies found there.

2.) Treatment of the sick, wounded and injured dogs by veterinary doctors.

Our team was in constant touch with various veterinary doctors and would report immediately in case we find a wounded doggie. If needed, the dogs were carried to the nearest animal hospital and youthika would be bearing the entire cost of treatment/surgery.

3.) Virtual Adoption

We have connected with various organisations who provide this facility. You don't need to bring the pet home, but you can still pay for them, even on a monthly basis. educating people on what virtual adoption is the most important aspect of this segment.

Masks Donation

Oct 2020

During this pandemic, as we appreciate the efforts of the doctors, let's not forget about the rest of the hospital staff. They are warriors too, helping us. In these troubled times, they've stood by us, risked their lives, and even sacrificed them for our well-being. We don’t want the safety and health of the sweepers, nurses, and other workers in hospitals to be compromised so we've donated 10000 masks to them.

Old Age Home

At Youthika, we believe in doing more than just spending time with our elders. That's why we came up with a unique plan to make our visit truly special. We started by distributing useful items like vitamins, nutrition tablets, and other essentials to help boost their immunity. Then, we spent time getting to know each person and their specific needs so we can help provide for them in our next visit.
But that's not all! We also conducted fun and exciting activities for everyone to participate in. Each grandma and grandpa had the chance to showcase their talent or tell us something special about themselves. And to top it all off, we brought along some delicious lunch to share during lunchtime. It was a heartwarming event that brought smiles to everyone's faces. We can't wait to continue making a difference in our community, one visit at a time.
