Sayyomita Nahar
Founder & President

Sayyomita Nahar founded Youthika at 16 years old, with vision in mind, passion in soul and compassion in heart- to make this world a better place to live in, for everyone. As she states in the manifesto, through Youthika, an initiative that means the world to her, aims to create a world wherein every person lives life to their best potential , wrapped in the warmth of security from all forms of exploitation and oppression. She is currently pursuing her degree from a premier Ivy League institution: a B.Sc. in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University, New York, USA. She is an incredible sportsperson- a state level basketball player, national athlete. Apart from sports, she has won several international and state debates, muns and extempores. Sayyomita is academically sound, and is exceptionally gifted at writing as well as painting. But what she’s known for is her impeccable leadership. She’s always proved herself to be a naturally inspiring head, be it the NGO or the student council or sports or model un, she is recognised as a strong, reliable, rational, gold-hearted individual with sound moral values of integrity, dedication, consistency and selflessness. The entire team of Youthika and literally anyone who’s known her is witness to the immense passion and contribution of hers to the NGO- she always knows what and how and when is everything supposed to be done, and makes sure everything is perfect and top notch. A patriot, wildlife enthusiast, feminist, human and animal rights activist, Sayyomita is on a mission to make lives of others happier and peaceful. These qualities she possesses only begin to describe her, a person who excels at everything she puts her mind into. She puts in everything she has, all her knowledge, time, finances, networks and efforts- everything possible- and makes Youthika the reality it is today. Her courage and pure-heartedness promise of the enormous difference she would make to the world.
Samah Miza

Samah Mirza is a vehement yet compassionate 18 year old girl, who's known for her principles of honesty and hard work. She is going to pursue her career in business administration. She has an avid passion for learning new languages, has attended several muns and has been vital for the success of various events she has helped in organising. She has also been involved in acting, debates, sports, dancing and various other co-curricular activities. She believes in the power of giving back which is why she started Youthika. A confident, dynamic young lady, she has mastered handling people and manages to influence and convince everyone she meets effortlessly. Apart from this, she's fun to be with, a really humorous person, and if you ever happen to meet her, you'll realise that there resides a great friend in her, who's extremely trustworthy and reliable, someone who'll be there for you, no matter what.
Rajnandini Pawar

Rajnandini Pawar is a 18 year old who follows her dreams as she believes that our aspirations are our possibilities. She is an international level dancer. She is a state level squash player, a divisional level athlete and swimmer . She is a phenomenal speaker and has been part of dramas, plays , HMUN ,MUN & debates. She is also an anchor, a photographer , videographer, editor , choreographer and a content creator on YouTube. Her grandfather helped thousands of people in need and became an inspiration for her and everyone around him. Therefore even she has the determination to help people around her ! Spreading joy and happiness to people is something that truly makes her happy.
Bhavesh Chaudhari

Bhavesh Chaudhari is a 19-year old filled with dreams, aspirations and passion- a passion to make the world a better place to live in. With ambitions of owning an empire in the business world, he is a goal-oriented, hard-working individual, with prominent leadership skills, maturity and an abundance of creativity, confidence, decisiveness and empathy. Someone who knows how to make the best of every opportunity, Bhavesh is both courageous and resilient. He envisions bringing about lasting change in the lives of the underprivileged, and pledges to put in all his might, effort and work to do so. An artist at heart, you will often find him painting canvases or sketching or hitting the gym- these are his favourite things to do when time permits. A selfless, trustworthy and compassionate person, Bhavesh is morally, intellectually and emotionally sound. He has always proved himself, by excelling in anything he puts his mind into. He seeks solace by simply learning about the happenings of the world, and is thoroughly interested in Indian Politics. An amazing friend, you can always trust him for the best advice, support and guidance!

Hemay Nahar
Treasurer & Head of Fundraising
Hemay Nahar is an 11th grader at Stepping Stones High School. He is an incredible sportsperson- cricket means the world to him and he’s played cricket for his city, and various clubs as the captain. He has been in various leadership positions before, and his consistently impressive leadership skills have earned him the position of the Treasurer and Head of Fundraising, here at Youthika. He aspires to become an entrepreneur and make it big in the corporate world. Serving as a member of Youthika is his way of giving back to the society and the nation- he yearns to create a lasting change in the lives of the deprived, and help them live better lives. Finance, calculations and mathematics have always been his superpowers, and hence he justifies the position he’s been selected for. A very friendly, sociable, trustworthy guy, he is sure to make you laugh even at your saddest; and he can apparently beat you at any sport- basketball, cricket, football, marathons- you name it.
Rasha Syed

Rasha Syed, when she walks into a room she owns it.Her salient confidence and impeccable kindness only begin to describe her, whether it's during a debate or a MUN conference it's her natural leadership qualities paired with her persuasive and firm voice that make her the centre of everyone's attention. Rasha loves anime and has watched a lot of shows and movies, her favourite is naruto. She loves shopping and will be found often shopping in her favourite stores or trying on new makeup looks. Rasha believes that in order to have beautiful eyes you must look for good in others and for beautiful lips you must only speak words of kindness for true beauty resides within.

Mansi Zalte

Manasi Zalte is a psychology major at Flame University, Pune. She has been working as a senior volunteer at a mental health organisation ‘Recover media’ for over two years, and was an intern at a feminist organisation ‘GirlUpBhopal’ and the ‘Anchor Initiative’, all of which in the editorial department. Manasi believes in using her voice for the right thing, in the right way. With a desire to diplomatically bring about a positive change, Manasi has participated in various MUNs and debates across and outside the country including places like Oxford and Dubai and moreover, was involved in an MUN circuit namely ‘TheCafeMun’ as a regional head for her city. A published poet, and a mental health activist, Manasi is an ambivert, a bibliophile and is completely obsessed with aesthetics. Feel free to strike a conversation with her about these anytime!

Rashi is currently pursuing her bachelor’s in accounting and finance from Mithibai college and is also a state level basketball player. She is an excellent communicator who is focused on getting the team together and motivating people to get work done. A genuine friend and patient person who will go out of her way to help anyone she can. Someone who loves dancing and singing despite being offbeat ; ‘high on life till the day we die’ is a line that completely defines her. With her lively spirit , hard work and contagious enthusiasm, she stands to influence people for the good and bring by a small change in the society.

Janhavi Kathar a NEET aspirant is carring a dream of becoming a doctor. She believes that “every artist dips his brush in his soul and paints his own nature into his paintings. Janhavi is a trained classical dancer, state level basketball player, swimmer , athlete and a passionate artist ! She keeps on learning something new everyday to enhance her personality. She is a social butterfly. She truly feels that animal lovers are a special breed of humans ,”generous of spirit,full of empathy perhaps a little prone to sentimentality and with hearts as big as a cloudless sky “. I’m Ishita Vikhona and I’ve been working with Youthika for two years now. I’m a curious 11th grade student from Stepping Stones High School, Aurangabad. Writing poems is the perfect dream and most beautiful reality for me, it brings me closer to my finer self. I have an eye for beauty and the aesthetics and i love to curate it in any way that i can. You can read my work in three anthologies which I am super grateful for. Helping others has always been like therapy to me and I’m so glad Youthika gave me an opportunity to embrace that. All my love for Youthika, and I’m so proud for how far we’ve come.

Siddhant Biyani, the guy with a perpetual smile on his face. He likes diving deep into fiction, grooving to the wildest music and syncing to the garba beats.Siddhant is also a four time national level basketball player and recognizes basketball as his only love. He might stammer a bit, but has the power to wield down what he feels.Biyani likes leading the pack and was also the captain of his school.Empathetic in a different way, he likes talking to kids and being around them. He tries to be someone whom they can open up their dreamy world to. Overall, a dynamic, but charming person, he's the one who's always there and is ever so dependable.

Siddhee Satish is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication at the Symbiosis Centre for Media and Communication, Pune. She is seen as a loving individual that enjoys helping those around her. An eloquent speaker, she has won several accolades in MUNs, Debates, Youth Parliaments and other such oratory events. She also enjoys art, acting, singing, and is a passionate sports person and athlete. She is best known for being a hard working team player, a determined leader, reliable, enthusiastic and most importantly, always willing to learn and grow. Siddhee's affection for nature and animals takes precedence over anything else in her life. She has a strong sense of justice and righteousness and feels most strongly for those that cannot fight for themselves.She is highly motivated to make a lasting effect in the way our community perceives and treats nature and animals, and create a safe environment for them by inculcating the same love and empathy she feels, in the future generations.

From representing her country for a cultural exchange programme in Turkey, participating in the state-level football and gymnastic tournaments, to winning a gold medal in national level gymnastics; Anishka has often shown an exemplary dedication towards her goals. She is also fond of animals, adventures,anime and K-dramas. Her love for BTS is uncondolitional. Anishka is amiable, creative, empathetic and loving. A graduate of Economics and Commerce, Janaki is now pursuing her MSc in International Business and Management from Alliance Manchester Business School. She is an avid reader and feminist. As a former athlete, team spirit and growing together towards goals is very important to her. Janaki believes in the ideals of the mothers of contemporary feminism, Gloria Steinem and Betty Friedan to name a few. She thinks that Feminism means that all people deserve social, political and economic equality regardless of their sex. And that we can only progress as a society if we reach this goal.
